The Forgotten Project!!

Somehow in all the craziness last month I never posted my Beyond the Card project for last month's SheetLoad of Cards assignment. I was so happy with the end result of this I can't believe I forgot to post it!

Using the sketch from the August Issue of SheetLoad of Cards that you can still download from HERE I created this Picture frame using the Butterfly digistamp from Sweet N Sassy Stamps!

I love how this turned out! (If I don't say so myself!! Ha!) There is something about the contrast between the soft colors of the Basic Grey DP against the stark black frame and trim (Ribbon from Papertrey) that just work well with me! The frame was purchase from Michael's and it is a shadow box style frame with depth to it. I simply covered the layer on top with the DP and then applied my stamped image and sentiment to the lower layer.

The sentiment is one that I created using Word Art in Power Point. The quote I found online and felt it went perfectly with the butterfly stamp. I am happy to share the sentiment with you as soon as I get my regular computer back from the shop. I received a message over the weekend that it is on its way back to Best Buy from the repair location. I hope to have it very soon! I MISS it!!!

I am in the process of opening my own Etsy store and this picture will be available for purchase once I can get it uploaded and ready for sale!

Before you go let me just share with you a little reminder concerning this month's SheetLoad sketch!!

It is time for the monthly Show Us Your SheetLoad challenge over at SheetLoad of Cards!! To be entered to win, all you have to do is create a single, Fall-themed, card that utilizes the sketch from the latest issue.

Head on over there today and find out how you can win one of two gift certificates from the September sponsor - JessicaLynnOriginal!

Simply Beautiful! Kelly.

Love the colors, and the saying is beautiful. I need to learn how to do that in power point. I never have the perfect stamp so that is a great way to work with an image.

When I find some energy, I will give the Sheet load challenge a try.
