I decided to make another scrapbook layout for my final post this week!

I had some pictures of my daughter and my great niece that were taken recently and were just begging to be scrapped.  Since there were strawberries on my great nieces bathing suit, I knew immediately what papers and stamps to use!!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Unity: 100% Happiness Stampin' Store Kit August 2009, Distressed Dots
DP: My Mind's Eye: Quite Contrary
Stickers: October Afternoon
Border Punch: Martha Stewart
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Brads: Basic Grey

I colored the strawberries and frame stamp with Copic markers and then stamped the 100% Happy stamp with Ruby Red ink from SU. To border the picture of my niece, I stamped the Distressed Dots Unity stamp underneath the picture on the left upper corner.

The journaling says...

Tiffany and her second cousin Ava Marie spend some time together bonding at a family gathering.  They are so "berry" cute together!

Looking at that sweet baby face makes me 100% Happy... that's for sure!!

DT Housekeeping and some Blog Candy!!!

If I am not careful I don't have enough days in the week to post all the requirements for my DT's.  So today I am going to give you a couple of maintenance posts into one...

...and also explain to you about my BLOG CANDY!!


When I wasn't looking this last week, my blog hits went past the 20,000 mark which means it is time for me to give away some goodies.  I will explain at the end of this post what you can win and how you can win it!!



First things first...

Did you have a chance to go and get your SheetLoad of Cards eZine yet for December?

 Did you notice anything on the SL blog while you were there?   Alicia announced that this is the final month for new issues of SheetLoad of Cards.

This makes me very sad because Alicia has always run a very professional magazine filled with lots of inspiration and great sketches to use over and over again.  Alicia was the first person to have faith in my work as a designer and select me for her DT.  I will forever be grateful to Alicia for giving me the opportunity to work with her and her ShortCut products too!  Her magazine will be missed but I am sure I will still run into her on the forums and in the stamping community!  Thank you very much Alicia!!

Growing in Unity- FWF Friday

Happy Friday Ya'll!! I am stuck at work and have to make this very short and sweet!! I hope you are on the Blog Hop for Friends with Flair Friday and are enjoying all your stops visiting the blogs of sweet Unity Fans!!

My card today combines three Christmas stamps, Cosmo Cricket paper and some beautiful red velvet paper to make this Christmas card. The ribbon is from DCWV and I also used a MS border punch.

I am showing you this angle so you can see that the snowman was embossed in silver.

Do you see how perfectly that winter wonderland circle frame fits around the snowman's shape? And don't you just love the Swirly Christmas sentiment in the panel underneath the snowman? Oh so cute! Slowly but surely I am tackling my Christmas cards this year! Maybe I will have them in the mail before December 20th this year! LOL!
