Now on to another stamp company that I just love... Whimsie Doodles!!
Tomorrow is the November 1st which means that it is a Release Day again and Melyssa, as always, has not disappointed with her latest creations!! I have some snippets to show you of two of the three releases coming out tomorrow! I will show you the whole the full reveal for all the sets tomorrow!
These two sneaks are from one of the new sets being released tomorrow!
Anxious to see more?? Well just stop by again tomorrow when I will show you the full views of all three of my cards showing each of the Whimsie Doodles New Releases! If you head over to the Whimsie Doodles Blog, you can leave a comment for a chance to win a new set!
Have a very safe and Happy Halloween! Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour tonight if your area uses Daylight Savings Time! And may your bucket be overflowing with all treats and no Tricks!!
To create the ice pond I used one of the Frosted ShortCuts full sheets and cut it out free form to look like a pond. I layered a piece of white CS under the frosted card base and then added the glittery snow to the edges and also to her skate line.
To see some more of the WD Winter images in Sneak Peeks today, please visit the following blogs...
The striped DP is from MM and the Boo paper is from DCWV. I used my Recollections black cardstock as the base and matting for the image.
To create the brick wall that the Voodoo Mummy is sitting on, I masked the mummy image and used a background stamp from Stampin' Up with Really Rust SU ink. I shaded it with a little of c1 colored Copic Marker. The mummy is also colored with Copics. Coloring things that are white can be a challenge, but in this case I added some shades of tan and peach to give a skin color and also a worn, dirty look on the bandages. Then for a little pop of color I made the safety pin orange, the heart red and the button eye green!! I just love Melyssa's images!!
I thought the gauze that I added as the two accent strips next to the main image was a fun idea. I was trying to mimic the mummy's gauze wrap! Not sure I did, but I tried!! :-)
Have you seen anything cuter lately?? I am in love with the sweetness of this set. It was so fun to color with my Copic Markers too. The bright and cheery candy corn DP is from the Recollections paper pad available at Michael's. The orange die cut strip comes from a laser cut sheet from Bazzill. The small white square rub-ons in two rows is from American Crafts. All the flowers are from Prima and the brad is from Basic Grey. I used the Nestie label 3 and trimmed the bottom so it was square. I repeated the same shape by only cutting the top portion of the sentiment panel.

Isn't she amazing? I just love every part of her from her funky glasses to her clunky shoes, I think she is great! This witch image called Witchy Girl and she comes in digital format with two sentiment options; the one you see here and another one that says "Bewitched by You."
What a perfect card to send to your significant other if you are feeling a little naughty! Or she could be added to your child's scrapbook page remembering that special year she dressed up as a witch!
The DP and CS used for this card come from the MM Spooky Alley Paper Pad. The border trim was made using a MS punch. The ribbon is from PaperTrey Ink. To get an idea on the size of the images, I printed these directly out onto GP white CS without adjusting the sizes at all. The finished card size you see above is 5 x 6 1/2 inches.
With each digistamp you purchase from Melyssa, you receive a jpg and png file. The neat thing about the png files is that no matter how you resize them, they maintain their print quality. As you can see from a closeup below, I enlarged this image from its original size of 1.9" x 2.6" to nearly four times its size at 4.09" x 5.63" and you can see how it has maintained a very clear quality without pixelating.
To add to the project I added my own text box in Microsoft Word to include the "Happy Halloween" sentiment on the bag. And I also added my own ribbon bow and button that I placed over the Skull's drawn bow for extra dimension and interest.
This adorable image called the Skull will be available tomorrow at Whimsie Doodles in the Bits & Bites Halloween digistamp set. Don't be afraid!! Be sure to get yours right away!!
If you want to be sure to never miss out on any new releases or specials that Melyssa may be having over at Whimise Doodles, be sure to head on over to her blog and sign up for the newsletter. In so doing, you will be sent the adorable digistamp you see pictured below!

Have a great Monday and may your bucket overflow with easy projects for the upcoming holidays!
Going Batty Over You!
With this card I tried to make it look like you were getting a glimpse at moon lit night sky with the eery gray colorings that you sometimes see when it is stormy outside. I got to use the new Mica Gloss inks (Silver and copper) that I bought from Judikins at CHA. I kind of splurged and bought all the colors they had! I am so glad that I did because I love this stuff!! It is shimmery and also does not muddy up when you mix colors together. With the mica it keeps it color intact. The photo was a pretty good representation of how it looks shining in the light.
Halloween KIT-ty KAT Bag!
Did you get my play on words?? Kit Kat bar and Kit-ty Kat bag? HeHe!! The DP is from BG's Ambrosia pack and I modge podged it to the wooden bag after cutting out a template. The ribbon is from PTI.
I printed the digistamp out onto PTI CS and then colored it in with my Copic Markers and also sponged the ground and the sky with my SU inks. I framed the circle with more nesties and then printed out the sentiment to fit the project. The font I used was called Cooper Black.
That does it for today's sneaks, but if you still want to see more, please visit the Whimsie Doodles blog where you will always be blown away by Melyssa's talents. And don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win one of these sets FREE when she has the drawing on Saturday the New Release day!!
Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with lots of chocolate!
