Today is Sweet as Candy...

...because it is another Sweet Sketch Wednesday WEDNESDAY!!! And I am excited to share some sweet creations with you!! We are happy that on this 15th week of sweet sketches we have another sweet sponsor and it is none other than Regina at the Cutting Cafe. Today is extra sweet too because we had two sketches to work with, one for our Cutting Cafe card and another one that I used some sweet Unity on!

Here is the first sketch called Sweet Sketch 15 Doubletake...

And here is the Halloween card that I made which uses three of The Cutting Cafe's digistamps that come in her Halloween This and That collection.

The DP you see here is from a collection of papers by The Little Yellow Bicycle called Frightful. I like it because the hues are deeper and it helps make them a bit more masculine. I played with the size of my images before printing out these digistamps and altered them to suit my needs. I added the MS spider web border punch and a ribbon I got from Michael's and then I distressed the edges with a blade and some black ink. I left a little white (er I mean green) space on the bottom left corner which isn't very easy for me to do!!

Here is the other sketch we were given to use that I found just a bit more challenging.

For this one I did some masking and used the candycorn from Trick or Treat Peeps and the "Sweet" and "It's all about the Candycorn" sentiments from the new Hauntingly Sweet sets.

I used some cute new paper from Tim Coffey (that looks blurry on screen) and also broke out one of my new Border Punches (loops) from Martha Stewart and a new Nestie frame that I also bought recently. I decided to make the center box a little larger than the other two and I stamped three candy corns in a row and then placed a candycorn embellishment over the center one. I tried to keep this one sweet and frilly because it will probably go to one of the young girls in my family for Halloween!

To see more of the creations made by the DT you can follow the names on my sidebar or you can go directly to the SSW blog and view them there. I hope you decide to play along and submit your card this week because Regina is giving away FREE Cutting Cafe digistamps to the winner of this challenge next week!

Congratulations to Sue Morris for winning last week's challenge by Inktegrity! You can see her adorable winning card HERE. Contact Arlana if you haven't done so already to collect your FREE stamps!!

Here's to hoping that you have a very sweet Wednesday and that your bucket overflows with lots of sweet candy (real or eye depending on if you are dieting or not!!) :-)
