It's Hip Hop Hangover Friday!!

What does this mean?? It means that it's the day after Unity's Hip Hop blog hop and now their customers get to share a creation they have made with Unity stamps!!

I actually have two cards to share with you today. The first one is the graduation card that I made for my daugther. As I mentioned the other day, my youngest daughter Tiffany graduated from High School. She is planning on going into law enforcement. I chose the sentiment on this card because I know that she is going to be in a position to influence others and to promote change! We are so proud of her and her life's goals!

The colors for this challenge were from this week's Color Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers, to use Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red.

Here is a quick peak at the inside. No Unity here... I just had fun with a couple of graduation stamps I had from Michael's dollar bin and the Rubber Stampede (Class of stamp). I added the 2009 numbers with rub-ons and stuck on stickers that came with the paper from We R Memory Keepers (Nonsense collection).

The second card I made was for the second Hip Hop challenge in Unity's Forum yesterday. This challenge was to use Unity word stamps to create a background. I loved this challenge, because it really opened up my mind to new ways to use my stamps. I like the background that I came up with. I used the border/strip stamp in Unity's "This is the Time" set that is like a collage of many different words. I used my stampamajig and kept stamping it over and over until I had a large piece to use as a backdrop for my Sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from Unity's Birdie Inspiration set.

This card also fits into a color challenge over at Stamp TV in the Florida Stampers group which was to use blue, greens and oranges. The paper from MM Chloe's Closet collection had the perfect shades to match the multicolored inks I used to stamp the background. The embellisments are also from MM Chloe's Closet.
If you would like to follow along in the Hip Hop Hangover blog hop then start HERE in the Unity HH forum and follow all the links listed in the individual threads. You will enjoy the hop very much as Unity has some very talented fans out there!
Have a great day and may your bucket always overflow with the change needed to make your dreams come true!
