We finally heard on Friday night that we had been approved by the Board at the Shelter to be the new parents for Tasha (aka Marge!)! We are all so excited that we can hardly stand it! Yesterday I picked up all the new supplies we needed for our little furbaby and we are in the process of puppy proofing the house this morning. We meet the owner of the shelter at 1:30 and will be proud new parents of our little puppy!! Life as we knew it will no longer be!! LOL!!
I will be back later with some pictures!!
I made a few Clean and Simple cards this week for various challenges that I hadn't shared with you here yet.
Thanks a Latte!
This first one for Tuesday's Color Challenge CC221 which was to use White for the main color and add another color of ink. My image is from Sweet N Sassy stamps "Warm Up" set.
Glittery Greetings From FL
This second card is from Monday's Clean and Simple Challenge which was to make a summer themed card and use only Coral or Pinks and one other coordinating color. I chose to use Cameo Coral and Ruby Red from SU. The stamped images are from Unity's Beach Days and Sun Rays collection. The "sand" is gold stickles. The sentiment stamp is from Custer's Last Stamp.
You are My Sunshine!
My third card is for the Limited Supplies Challenge from last week which was to shed the layers of our card (because it is so HOT!) and make a one layered card in a summer theme. The stamps again come from Unity's Beach Days and Sun Rays. We could use any embellishments we wanted, but only one layer of cardstock. So, I used my nesties to create a "layer" to stamp in. I kept this one masculine and will probably give it to my husband some day.
Krafty Hello
Finally I have one more quick one to show you. This simple card comes from one of Unity's Hip Hop Challenges on Thursday called Getting Krafty with Unity. It was to use Kraft cardstock on our project. Not my favorite card, but still could work when I need to send out a quick Hello to someone. I cut the tree limb from We R Memory Keepers paper and the stamp is the Bird and Hello sentiment from the Flirty Flowers set at Unity.
I will try and be back for a quick update later today with some pictures of Tasha! Have a wonderful Sunday and may your bucket overflow with wagging tails and wet kisses!

Wow, those are all great!! I esp. love the way you just embosssed with the Nesties. I think that is beautiful!!
Enjoy your puppy...our house is enjoying a new cat!
Fun CAS cards! I always love the resulting cards, but find it difficult to 'go back' to simple cards. Defintely worth the effort, though!
Congrats on the new furbaby -- can't wait to see photos of the newest addition!
