Friends With Flair Friday!

Click HERE for a chance to win some {Ippity} BLOG CANDY!

Friday's are one of my favorite days of the week because I get to see a ton of Unity goodness by visiting the blogs of my fellow Unity friends!  I love Fridays!!

Today I have some tags to share with you.  I call them my Tim's Tags Unity/{Ippity} style!

Are any of you following Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas posts on his blog this year?  He really has some amazing creations and he uses such neat techniques too.  So I decided to play along this year.  But I am changing it up a bit and using Unity and {Ippity} stamps to create my  own version of them!

I have the first three days' tags completed for you to see here...

Aren't they really cool?  I ordinarily don't stamp like this so it has been fun to step outside the box for me!

Here are some closeups for you...

This is the tag for day 1 (You can see Tim's version HERE For mine, I used the snowman, snowflake and the sentiment from the {Ippity} Kissmas & Mistletoe set.  In the background I also stamped the branch from the Devoted set.  This card is cool because it used a neat inking technique for the background and a crackle effect too!

This is the tag for Day 2.  ( You can see Tim's version HERE)  I made my own whole frame by stamping the half frame from the {Ippity} set called  Life's Little Moments. The sentiment, snowflakes and trees are from the Kissmas & Mistletoe set. Mine came out a bit more feminine than his did, but I like it this way!

And here is my tag for Day 3.  (You can see Tim's version HERE)  This is probably my favorite so far. I loved the plaid background we created with alcohol inks.  I altered slightly the Unity stamp called Deep Woods, by masking the bottom part of it so it wouldn't stamp and then I drew my own skinny trunk with a Sharpie.  I also used the swirls from the January 09 KOM and the stars from the Little Sprout set to create the background.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!  Have fun on the rest of your stops on this FWF Friday.  Be sure to stop by the Unity Blog to follow the whole list of today's participants!  And don't forget about the awesome sale going on all this weekend too at Unity!

For another hop tomorrow and a chance to see some more {Ippity} please visit here again when I will be participating in a blog hop called the "March of the Snowmen."

The hop will begin tomorrow at 8am EST.

Have a great Friday and may your bucket overflow with lots of flair to share!
