Are you having a Sweet Wednesday??

So are you having a Sweet Wednesday???  Well if you are not then you probably need something to sweeten your day up! So why not grab this new sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday, head to your craft area and get busy making a special card using that sketch??

Doesn't that sound like it could sweeten your day??

Here is today's sketch.  In fact we were given the option of using two sketches. This is the one that I followed for my card today, but you ca get the other one from the SSW Blog.

The sketch this week is sponsored by none other than Melyssa Connolly of Whimsie Doodles Digistamps!!  How neat that two of my DT's met today in one challenge!!  Melyssa is offering up a prize for one lucky winner who participates in this week's sketch challenge and submits their card on the SSW blog.  So be sure to play along if you want a chance to win two of her brand new sets just released yesterday... Snow Angel and Christmas Undies!)

To make this sketch work for me, I decided to shrink down the Whimsie Doodles image called Gingerbread Greetings and then also flip it horizontally for my second one.  That right there is the beauty of working with digital images my friend. I hope that you have given them a try, because once they are printed out, they are like coloring on any other stamped image!!  The sentiment is also a WD image from the Holiday Sentiments collection.

My images were colored or accented with Copic Markers.  I used Christmas DP from My Mind's Eye.  The ribbon is Martha Stewart and the lace trim is from Michael's. The little white brads are from Basic Grey and I finished the whole thing off with a little machine stitching!!

Head on over to the SSW Blog and learn more about how you can enter the challenge and also see more of the creations from the DT members using the great sketches!!

I hope that you will do what you need to do to have a sweet Wednesday and may your bucket be overflowing with now 26 sketches from Sweet Sketch Wednesday!
