Happy H{Ippity} Hop! Our First One Ever!!

For today's H{Ippity} Hop we are also starting a week long challenge.  The Challenge on the forum this week is SNOW.  Create a card or project including SNOW on it and upload it to the SCS Gallery using the keyword IHHC1 (Ippity Hippity Hop Challenge 1). 

Also include a link to your card on the {Ippity} Forum Challenge Thread and one lucky winner will receive an {Ippity} T shirt!!  Hope you will play along!

The card that I created for this challenge uses the Christmas trees and the Peace sentiment from the Kissmas & Mistletoe {Ippity} stamp set.  The DP is from Webster's.  I paper pieced the trees and used gold embossing powder on both the trees and the sentiment.

My SNOW for the challenge comes in with the snowflake stamp from {Ippity's} Kissmas & Mistletoe set.  I stamped it in Winter Wonderland embossing powder. Then I also used tissue paper to create a snowy landscape.  (I will be sharing this technique in a tutorial in the near future!)

This snow technique is a fun way to create dimension and keep your card very light weight at the same time.  I added machine stitching for more detail on the snow!
