I know that most of you have probably heard all the hype about the new
Ippity Opportunity that is being unveiled today at the
Unity blog, but did you know that
they have chosen little ole me to be one of the
Design Team members to represent them!!
I can hardly contain myself!! This has been one secret that was really hard to keep!! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing new venture that Unity is taking on and I am also very thrilled to be working with such talented people too!
I have the pleasure of being on the DT with
Eva Dobilas who was
Unity's Guest Designer last month. And have you seen the new
Ippity stamp images going on sale? The Artists are so amazing! I love all the stamps they have created so much!!
Be sure to go over to the Ippity Blog to check out what all the hype is about!
But, before you go please let me show you what I have created for you using some of the stamps from the new Ippity line... you are going to LOVE these stamps!! Trust me!!
The first card I made uses the new Ippity stamp set called "Because of You"
The heart and circle border were stamped nine times all together to make the image panel as you see it. First it was stamped three times on the white CS base, then again three times on the DP which was then cut around the larger heart. And finally it was stamped three times again on white CS and cut out around the smaller heart. The hearts were layered on top of each other alternating colors for contrast.
Here is a closeup of the heart and border stamp. What a perfect sentiment for the loved one in your life!
After stamping the sentiment, I colored in the hollow letters using coordinating Copics. The DP is from The Greeting Farm. Brads are from Basic Grey, ribbon is from Joann's, Flowers are from MM, and the border punch is from MS.
Next I would like to share with you a card I made using this adorable cow stamp from the Simply Home set by Ippity!
Isn't this the cutest little cow? Do you see the tag on it's ear? How country is that??
I decided to use the cow image and focus on the word "Mooving" to make a card to give to a co-worker or neighbor who is changing jobs, retiring or moving away. I couldn't help but use Moo in my sentiment! It just made sense!! At least to me it did!! LOL! The DP used is from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Boy collection and also from Scenic Route's Garden Grove collection. I used small Prisma flowers that I colored purple with my Copics and also added a touch of Flower Soft to the pasture too.
I created the sentiment using the Word Art program on my computer. The font is one of
KevinandAmanda's fonts called PeaScrapbrandy. The sentiment is not one of the stamps in this set.
To add depth and dimension I stamped the cow image twice and popped up the second image on top of the first.
The third card I want to share with you is a Christmas card using the new
Ippity stamp set called
Kissmas & Mistletoe. The card uses
SC253 from SCS for the sketch.
This set includes the Christmas tree stamp and the Peace sentiment that you see used here. The Christmas tree was stamped three times onto this awesome Cardstock from the
Coredinations collection called Whitewash that can be purchased from
Cut Card Stock. The base also uses this paper which was run through the Cuttlebug using a snowflake embossing folder and then sanded down to reveal the core. After stamping the images of the trees, I gently sanded their edges to remove some of the ink and also to bring out the darker core of the CS there too.
I stamped the tree again onto a plain piece of cardstock and then saturated it with embossing ink and then sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from Custer's Last stamp. The rhinestones are from Studio 18 and were colored with my Copics to match them to the DP. The gold accents are stickers made by FlowerSoft.
The DP is from the Cosmo Cricket line called Holly By Golly. The DP was cut into pieces to make it appear like blowing wind. The snow is called Glittery Snow that was sprinkled on top of a glaze adhesive. The Peace sentiment was colored over using my gold ink pen.
And the final project I have to share with you today is from the Devoted collection at Ippity.
Using the house stamp and the Joshua 24:15 Bible verse quote in that set I created this framed art piece to give as a gift. I paired the image with this DP from American Crafts. I then double matted the piece using a brown CS from The Paper Co. and the bright yellow Cardstock is called Mohawk Via Linen in the Sunflower color from Cut Card Stock The house was colored to match the DP using Copics.
If you stuck with me this long, I really appreciate it! We wanted to make sure that you got to see a lot of what there is to offer in these great stamps! I hope that you love them as much as we do! Thanks so much for stopping by and please drop a note and tell me which one is your favorite Ippity stamp set so far!!
