Ippity Spring 2010 Release- Sneak Peek Day 1

Happy Mother's Day!!

I am so excited that I can hardly stand it!!

I feel like I have been waiting for and working towards this day's coming for EVER!!!
And it is finally here!!

Today we begin showing you the Sneak Peeks for the
Spring 2010 Ippity Release!!

The Ippity DT has a little Sneak Peek Blog Hop for you today and everyday through Wednesday.  And all of this is gearing us up to the wonderful New Release Party we have planned for you on Thursday, May 13th at the Ippity Forum on SCS when the new Ippity is officially released for sale!

To see a snippet of what is contained in the stamp sets revealed today, be sure to head over the Ippity blog.  If you are following along the blog hop already then you are in the right place if you are coming to me from the amazingly talented Karen Maldonado's blog!

Do you like what you have seen so far?

Are you ready to see some more of the new ippity stamps in use?

My first card uses a stamp from the Now and Always set...

I decided to create an invitation with the fabulous flourishy swirl stamp that you see here.  I embossed it with silver embossing powder and added a small flower with a silver center.  (The sentiment is NOT included in the set.)  The pink panel was dry embossed using my Cuttlebug and I added a small silver border below it that was punched using a MS punch.

It's Clean and Simple in style, yet elegant enough for a wedding or bridal shower, baby shower or invitation to girls frilly party!

The next card sample I have for you is from The Simple Things set...

For this card I used the Brick Wall technique that is in the Resource Center at SCS.  I used Webster's Pages DP and stamped the silhouette image of the leaves with embossing ink and black embossing powder.  The "bricks" were placed on coordinating Bazzill paper.  I carefully left some of the bricks off and provided space to stamp the sentiment.  The Dollar store satin ribbon tied into a bow completed the card.

I loved doing this technique and can see many occasions that this could be fun to use it for again!  The New Beginning sentiment speaks to me these days!! In essence, every day is a New Beginning where we have the opportunity to start all over again to be the person we feel we are supposed to be!!  I love this set!!

Do you want a chance to win one of these sets??

All you have to do is leave a comment on each of the DT members' blogs for a chance to win!  Each day we have assigned two of our DT members blogs as secret blogs.  And from those blogs we will select a random winner from each.  One winner will receive Now and Always and the other will receive The Simple Things set.  The winners will be announced at our New Release Party on Thursday at SCS!!

Good luck!

Moving along to the next blog on your stop, you will be visiting the fabulously talented Lisa Arana!!

Thanks for stopping by!!  We'll see you tomorrow for two more sneak peeks at some of the new stamps sets from Ippity!!  May your bucket overflow with the inspiration that comes from seeing wonderful stamps made into beautiful creations!!

Happy Mother's day Kelly! My "babies" gave me a card - they commissioned it from "daddy", and he made it using my rubber stamps. What a hoot! We just finished lunch with my mothers, now it's nap time and later fun by the pool. Call me if you want to come by. V.
