Hippity Hop

Quick post for you today!  It's Monday and that means it is time for another Hippity Hop blog hop where all of our fellow Ippity Fans take time to prepare beautiful creations with Ippity stamps!  What a great day filled with inspiration!  Enjoy your time as you get to hop along to all the wonderful blogs.  Stop by the Ippity Blog for the complete list of participating blogs for today.

The card that I am sharing with you today is the card that I made for today's CAS challenge CAS67 at SCS. We were challenged (and let me tell you that it was a real challenge) to create a CAS card in the Shabby Chic style.  When I first thought about this challenge, I thought it sounded kind of like an oxymoron.  But after remembering that the image of a chandelier is so prevalent in the Shabby Chic Decor I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

I created this CAS card with stamps from the Regal Greetings set and the assistance of some pretty October Afternoon paper.  I inked the edges to give a vintage look and added some lace and tulle to finish it off.  The stamping technique that I used on the chandelier is called the Rock n Roll technique which you can learn from SCS HERE.

I was hoping to get a chance to work on Maria's inspirational challenge for today's Hippity Hop too, but I ran out of time. So I will be back during this week to share my sample with you!

Can't wait to see what  you guys have come up with to share with us today!!  And be sure to look for the results of who will be our Guest Designer for the Day and join us on our Hip Hop blog hop this coming Thursday!  We will be posting it on the Ippity forum some time today!

Have a wonderful Monday and enjoy today's Hippity Hop!
