Can I hear a HIP HOP??

It's Thursday and that means we are Hip Hopping our way through the Unity and Ippity Designers' blogs to show you some yummy eye candy using the fabulous stamps made by Unity.

If this is your first time, then all you need to know
is that you can head over to the
to start at the beginning!

From the Unity blog you will be directed to the first person on the Hop.  Then each participant will link you the next blog until you get all the way through the list and end up at the Ippity Blog for a wonderful tutorial.  created by Lisa Arana this week!

If you are coming from Karen's blog, then you are right on track!!

The Ippity DT has some very exciting news!!

We are now just days away until the Spring Collection of
Ippity stamps sneak peeks will be featured on the Ippity Blog.
In addition to seeing snippets of at least two sets per day, the Ippity DT members will also be showing samples using the new stamps on their blogs.  We will start showing them off this Sunday!!

So...

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

Sneak Peeks
are from Sunday, May 9th thru
Wednesday, May 12th
starting at the Ippity blog

-AND-

The New Release Party will be
Thursday, May 13th
on the Ippity blog and the SCS Ippity Forum!

The Spring Collection will go on sale to the public,
and there will be
challenges,
 games and contests,
prizes, chatting
 and lots more!!
We hope you will plan to spend the day with us celebrating!!

With the New Release, it is time to say goodbye to one Guest Designer and to welcome a new one!  I wanted to personally thank Heather Rolin for working with us during the term of our Winter Release.  Today is her last official post as a Guest Designer with us.  It was such a pleasure working with her...not only is she a fabulous stamp designer (wait til you see some of her new work for the Spring Release,) but she is also an amazingly talented card maker too.  She will be missed on the DT, but thankfully we won't let her go too far away because she will always be a part of Ippity with her stamp designs!!  :-)  Good luck with all you do Heather and thanks for playing with us!! You were awesome!!

Our new Guest Designer for the Spring Release term
will be revealed on the Ippity Blog for this
Saturday's Flatterday post!!

Don't miss it!!

So on to the goods...

My card for today uses this week's HipHop Sketch #6.
This is one of the challenges for today that you can play along with on the Unity forum at SCS.

My sample uses the {ippity} stamp set called
Moon Beams and Heart Strings.

Here is a close up of the stamped images.  I used some Copics to color in my hearts!  My frame was made using the Labels Nesties and some Circle Nesties.  I popped the frame up for added dimension.

The DP I used is from The Girls Paperie!! I LOVE this line!! It is so feminine and cute!!  For extra embellishments I added some rose and lace trim under the sentiment.  I also added a MS border punch and row of pink pearls down the side.  The fun part was when I chose to add the organza bow!  I am not sure this thing will mail very easily... but it sure was fun to make!!

I will be chatting on the SCS Unity forum today at 10:00am CST and will have a prize to give away.
I sure hope you will join me for some girl time!!

Your next stop on the Hop is Lisa Arana's blog

Next Blog

Have a great day and enjoy the rest of the Hip Hop!!
