Today, to celebrate Whimsie Doodles' new releases and the new Whimsie Doodles Website, each of the DT members have chosen their favorite WD image to use on their project. My favorite image is one of the new ones being released today!! It is called Kissmas Gingers and it has one of the darling little Gingers holding up some mistletoe!
The DP used is from one of Joann's Stacks. The CS is from GP. I colored Ginger in using my Copic markers and added a white souffle pen line for the white icing. I used a MS icicle border punch and added glue and then sprinkled it with glittery snow. I machine stitched on this card and also ran the main image panel through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. The sketch I used for this is last week's sketch at SCS, SC249. To create the frame for the sentiment I cut out white CS with a Nestie label and then used the label as a template/mask to sponge the blue ink onto the panel. The bow is from American Crafts.
