Welcome to my blog for today's Friend's With Flair post! On Friday's Unity fans come together and share projects using Unity Stamps. One blog even has a hidden Flair Blinkie on it. One lucky person who leaves a comment on that blog will win a prize of random Unity Stamps!
As I told you in yesterday's post I have been working on some household projects so my time at the craft table has been limited! I didn't get a chance to finish a new card for you today, but I do have some projects that I submitted to the February Dirty Dozen Gallery at SCS!
The theme for February's Gallery was Masculine!!
You know... it's one of those themes that we all find so challenging!! LOL!!
The cards I made were for the More is More challenge they give us. They ask us to make a simple card and then to make the same one but stepped up a notch or two.
I decided to make an invitation to a Barbecue!! I mean Grilling on the Grill doesn't get any more masculine does it?
I used the Unity stamp set called Retro BBQ but I let the designer paper from Flair Designs set the theme for me! I kept this one very simple by just stamping the words and adding some brads. I love the red, brown and Kraft colors together!
I n this stepped up version, I kept the layout the same but added a little extra paper on the bottom for the accents and then also stamped the BBQ Grill and colored it with Copics. I popped it up a bit and placed it on top of the DP and the sentiment panel. Of course this is my favorite version!!
I hope you have a great weekend and may your bucket overflow with summertime fun like BBQ's and pool parties!! See you on Monday for Ippity's next Hippity Hop!!

This is one awesome manly man card. I really like both of them and it's amazing how it makes the card look so different. Thanks for the inspiration.
Fun cards Kelly! These are the BEST kind of man cards! I don't think a man feels more manly than when he's wielding the grill tongs with the fire blazing! LOL! Love 'em both, could not choose a FAV!
Great masculine cards Kelly! I love them both.
That is so retro!
Both cards are awesome!!!
love them both, kelly:)
Very cute~I like them both :) Have a {happy} weekend!
they both are fabulous but I do love the paper peiced one.
Kelly I vote for sconed one! But both are great
Kelly,
Your card looks GREAT! You should upload it to SCS. Today's challenge is to create a masculine card.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs and smiles
Such a fun card Kelly love it!!!!
I think they are both fantastic Kelly! I am partial to popping things up so I love the 2nd one!
I like them both - but I am a sucker for anything popped up, so I would have to lean to that one!
Hmmm....I like them both. I think the stepped-up version with the cute BBQ grill is my fave.
They are both really nice cards! I like the second one best. Reminds me of my hubby - he love to bbq.
Well...you know I love them both! :D
If I had to just pick one, I would go with number 2. I like the way the grill is popped out! :)
Hi Kelly! Like most cardmakers, I struggle with "man" cards and I'm having to make not one but two masculine birthday cards this week-end ... both of of yours are beautiful. Loved Tasha's paw prints on your wood floor (lmao). We're refreshing the white paint on the outside woodwork on front of the house, but it's grueling work in this heat. V.
Great cards! I like the DP you used. #2 is my fave!
I love both, but the second one is my favorite!
