It's another Hip Hop Hangover!

Welcome Unity Stamp friends! If you aren't joining me from the blog list on the Unity blog, please visit HERE to start at the beginning! Enjoy the card that I have for you for one of the last Hip Hop Hangover Days! If you came to see the Whimsie Doodles Sneak Peeks then please continue to scroll down, otherwise enjoy a card I made with the Hodge Podge of Happiness set!

This is one of those cards that I could visualize as I picked out this adorable DP from October Afternoon. I knew it would be the perfect pairing with the adorable apple and coordinating sentiment that both come in the Hodge Podge of Happiness kit from Unity. The tree is a die cut that is also from October Afternoon. The images were colored with my Prismacolors and then were blended with Gamsol.

I hope that you are enjoying the HHH. The fans of Unity are so talented, is is always such fun visiting their blogs and seeing what they do with some of my favorite stamps!
Thanks so much for looking!! Enjoy the rest of your day, but first don't forget to take a peek at the last sneaks before tomorrow's release of more Whimsie Doodles stamps!

Final Whimsie Doodles Sneak Peeks!

Well yesterday came and went with good intentions to post my Thursday's Sneak Peek for Whimsie Doodles, but despite my project being completed, I just never got around to posting! Such is life! The kids continue to heal well and are still progressing without complications!

So what that means for you guys is that today you get TWO sneak peeks! These peeks will be the final look at the new stamps until they go on sale on Saturday at Whimsie Doodles!

Enjoy the preview!!

The first digistamp preview I am sharing with you is called Party Monster. Does this monster look a little familiar? Well it happens to be that cute little monster again that we showcased earlier this week in the Halloween Candy Monster digistamp. He/she still has a sweet tooth and also likes his (or it could be her) cupcakes and also likes to party!!

The sketch I followed for this card comes from last weeks SCS sketch # 240. The DP is from Kaiser Kraft and the stamp was colored with my Copics. In the upper right hand corner is one of the Cupcake Sentiments that will also be going on sale on Saturday! Isn't it the perfect sentiment for this card. I enlarged the circle to fit my needs before printing it!
My next sneak peek was a team effort with my best friend Tiffani. She needed a birthday card and I needed to make a sneak peek, so we put our heads together and came up with this adorable card that will be going to one of her berry sweet nieces.

The berries you see pictured here are from the Yummy Doodles set that will be released on Saturday from Whimsie Doodles. They were colored in with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol. The strawberry was printed out a total of eight times because all of the stems were colored twice and then one was cut away from the berry and placed on top of the main stem to add dimension.
Look at the depth and dimension that was added by layering the berry and stems and popping them up with pop dots.

My friend made her own circular sentiment to fit the berry theme. She also tried to mimic the indentations on a strawberry and turned the CB embossing folder upside down to the dots were debossed instead of embossed. Isn't she clever??

Don't forget to stop by the Whimsie Doodles blog and see more sneak peeks that Melyssa has created for us! Also be sure to sign up on her blog everyday this week for a chance to win a free digistamp. She is giving one of each one away on Saturday to coincide with the new release!!

Come back later today for my Unity Hip Hop Hangover post!!

Have a berry sweet day and may your bucket overflow with cupcakes and parties!!

WD Sneak Peek Day 3

This is my second post for today so please scroll down
to see my Sweet Sketch Wednesday post!

So between this post and the last I managed to get a few hours sleep and have also taken my daughter Leah to the dentist for her wisdom teeth extraction. I am back to playing the dual role of being mommy/nurse. You know how when you just don't feel well that it is great when mommy can help you. Leah is 22 and still needs and wants her mommy when she is sick! Ricky continues to do well too and thinks his vision keeps getting a little better each day! Thanks again for your prayers.
Now onto my next Whimsie Doodles Sneak Peeks!!

Today is the third day of sneak peeks as we count down to the next release day of some more adorable Whimsie Doodles digistamps. And the great news is that today I can show you two of the upcoming stamps!

The first digistamp is called Halloween Going Batty! And here is the sneak that you get to peek at...

Going Batty Over You!

With this card I tried to make it look like you were getting a glimpse at moon lit night sky with the eery gray colorings that you sometimes see when it is stormy outside. I got to use the new Mica Gloss inks (Silver and copper) that I bought from Judikins at CHA. I kind of splurged and bought all the colors they had! I am so glad that I did because I love this stuff!! It is shimmery and also does not muddy up when you mix colors together. With the mica it keeps it color intact. The photo was a pretty good representation of how it looks shining in the light.

The clouds come from the Whimsie Doodles Sunny Day set that was released on the 1st of August. That set is a must have because it has some adorable trees and field scenes too that could be used for so many card or SB projects But the clouds colored gray with my Copics were the perfect addition to complete the scene.

The DP is another old one I had stashed and it is from Scrap Rack, the doilie that I cut to use as a border is from BG and the black CS is from Recollections. The ribbon is from PTI... I love that black and white gingham!!

The Going Batty stamp set comes with the bat, moon, stars and the sentiment you see at the bottom on the tag I made. Isn't it just so stinking cute??

On to sneak peek number two for today!!

This was another fun project to make. I don't know about you, but I have a buying and hoarding problem for all things alterable! I can't pass up the dollar bins without finding something I think I will alter and my Michael's always cool unfinished wood items that are the best things to alter and pretty up!

So I decided to make a treat bag that is actually made out of wood and decorate it with the next stamp I am going to show you. This Whimsie Doodles digistamp is called Halloween Cat and Friends and is the perfect image for Halloween!!

I made this project using that stamp and a little play on words...

Halloween KIT-ty KAT Bag!

Did you get my play on words?? Kit Kat bar and Kit-ty Kat bag? HeHe!! The DP is from BG's Ambrosia pack and I modge podged it to the wooden bag after cutting out a template. The ribbon is from PTI.

I printed the digistamp out onto PTI CS and then colored it in with my Copic Markers and also sponged the ground and the sky with my SU inks. I framed the circle with more nesties and then printed out the sentiment to fit the project. The font I used was called Cooper Black.

That does it for today's sneaks, but if you still want to see more, please visit the Whimsie Doodles blog where you will always be blown away by Melyssa's talents. And don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win one of these sets FREE when she has the drawing on Saturday the New Release day!!

Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with lots of chocolate!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Wednesday's have turned into one of my favorite days of the week because I get to showcase another one of my Sweet Sketch Wednesday cards! Arlana has come up with a fabulous sketch that I know you will love using. So please head on over to the SSW blog and copy the sketch for you to use.

Remember last week I mentioned that it was my mom's birthday? You might remember me saying that I couldn't show the card I made for her since she follows my blog, well also I couldn't release it until today to coincide with the release of this new sketch.

Here is the sketch that I based my mom's birthday card from...

And here is the card that I made for her...

The DP is from Imaginisce (All Kinds of Happy), The swinging girl stamp is from Stampin' Up's "A Kind Word" set. The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms Birthday Centers. I colored the stamped image in with my Copic Markers. The flowers are from Petaloo and the ribbon I am not sure about.

At first I worried that this card would be to juvenile for her, but I have always loved this adorable little girl from this Stampin' Up set. It makes me think of the stories that I have heard my mom talk about that seem similar to the days when she grew up on the farm. I can just picture her as this girl (not too many years ago) swinging away in a tree swing probably being pushed by her little sister, my Aunt Cindy!

I realized that it also brought back memories for her when she immediately broke out in poem as soon as she saw the stamped image. This is the poem that began quoting, it is one that she used to say as a child and also the one that her mother said to her when she was little...

How do you like to go up in a swing
up in the air so blue.
Oh, I do think it's the pleasantest thing
ever a girl can do.
Up in the air & over the wall
till I can see so wide,
rivers and trees and cattle and all
over the country side.

Isn't that just the cutest little poem you ever did hear? I was so happy that the card had a special meaning to her, because my mom Sharon certainly has special meaning to me!

It was so fun having lunch with you last week mom... let's do it again soon!!

Now using the links on my side bar or by visiting the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog, you can click on the rest of the DT members names or pictures to see what else was created for this week's sketch. We have a couple of new DT members that you definitely want to check out. You won't be disappointed!!

A second post will follow a little later with a Sneak Peek of the next two digistamps for the upcoming release at Whimsie Doodles! So, please come back!!

Have a beautiful day and may your bucket overflow with happy memories from your childhood!

WD Sneak Peek- Day 2, Hanging Around Halloween Door Hanger

Quick Update on Ricky!

Thanks so much to each and everyone of you who have been praying for my son and his eye injury. I know prayers are being answered because we got more good news yesterday at the Retinal Specialists. His retina appears to be attached with a low risk of having any problems. He is seeing out of his right eye, but could only see the biggest letter E on the eye chart. It is still improvement from the night of the accident so I am relieved at that. The blood that has collected inside his eye is slowly being absorbed and settling which will continue to improve and should allow his vision to eventually return to normal. His is supposed to be taking it very easy and we are continuing with frequent drops and ointments to help his corneal laceration heal.
Thank you all for your continued prayers until he is back to normal!!
Whimsie Doodles Sneak Peek Day 2: Hanging Around

So did you enjoy your sneak peeks of yesterday's image? Did you sign up to have a chance at winning the free set yesterday on the WD blog? Well I just found out that every day this week as a new sneak peek is revealed you will have a chance at winning that set on Saturday the first of August. So if you visit the WD blog each day, you will have a chance at winning each of the new stamp sets being released this week! I hope that you are going to do that. All these new realeases are amazingly cute!!
Today's project is one that I am really stoked about! I love how it came out and I can't wait to show you! It uses the Hanging Around image which is of a spider and its web. Even if you are an arachnophobe, you won't be with this cute little bugger!

I decided to make a door hanger that can be displayed on a front door for the Halloween season. And here is how it came out...

The finished project is about 9x12 inches. It is made out of cardstock with a chipboard backing and it is designed to look like a banner of sorts. The BOO word is a MM chipboard accessory that I bought last year and have been hoarding for just the right time. I thought now was as good a time as ever. I modge podged the DP (from MM) to the top of the letters. IRL it looks brighter than it shows up on film.

Here is a closer look at the completed project on a white background...

Here is a close up view of the image that we are showcasing today...

Hanging Around digistamp preview from Whimsie Doodles

Didn't I tell you that he is just adorable? Who could be afraid of that little spider? If you look carefully you might be able to see that I glittered the web after I colored it in with my Copic Markers? Then using an Exacto knife I carefully cut around it and adhered it to the top of the last "O" in BOO!
Today we are also beginning to showcase some of the Halloween Button Sentiments that will also be released on Saturday. The Treat circle below uses one of those sentiments. Did you notice that the letter "T" is actually syringes? Isn't that just perfectly creepy for Halloween? I love it!!

For this button sentiment I enlarged it to about 3 inches and then framed it with a nestie circle and nestie scalloped circle. The great thing about digital stamps in png format is that you can reduce or enlarge them to fit your needs and they don't lose any quality when printed.
And here is one last look at my completed project...

So if you want to see more of the Hanging Around digistamp used in a project and if you want a chance to sign up to win some FREE digistamps, then head on over to see what cute projects Melyssa has made with this set

Real Life Trauma in the ER and a WD Sneak Peek!

Trauma: Life in the ER!

I won't bore you with all the details but let's just say that about the time I was finishing folding laundry and thinking about getting into my PJ's and preparing this blog post, my DH called and told me that he and my son were on the way home because Ricky (my DS) had just been shot in the eye with an Air Soft pellet from a pellet gun! He wasn't wearing his eye protection (despite my incessant lecturing) and was playing war with his buddies. His eye was hit from about 10-15 feet away from him. He couldn't see out of his eye, he was in horrible pain and was vomiting! So of course we headed straight to the ER.

We learned that his eye was full of blood and was causing his vision loss as well as the severe pain and nausea. He had a CT scan that showed no internal damage to the eyeball, but they couldn't tell for sure about his retina. They had to call in a specialist and we were scared to death that he would need surgery and possibly remain blind in that eye. We were relieved to hear that he was hopeful that Ricky would make a good recovery. We were sent home with every 1-2 eye drops and pain and anti-nausea meds as needed.

I am so thankful and relieved to tell you that as of his 8am dose of eye drops, Ricky is reporting that he can see again. Thank you Jesus!! It was so cute because he looked around his room and listed all the things he could see! Things are blurry still but that is understandable because he also scratched his cornea. But it doesn't look like there will be permanent damage at this point. We will be seeing a Retinal specialist today at 12:30. I will keep you posted and would appreciate your prayers for Ricky and his recovery!!

OK, let me change gears from Mom/Nurse to DT member! LOL!!

Today is the first Sneak Peek day for the new Whimsie Doodles stamps being released on Saturday the 15th. Some of the DT members, the designer Melyssa and I will be showing a sampling of some of the amazingly cute digistamps that Melyssa has created for this release! You are going to love them and they are coming at a perfect time for the upcoming season!

The first stamp we are showcasing is the digistamp called Halloween Candy Monster.
And here is what I made with him...

My Little Candy Monster

I colored him in using my Copic Markers and then used the colorless blender too lighten some of the areas and remove some of the harsh purple! I fashioned the colors after the cute DP I had on hand from K&Co. The black and white dotted paper is also from them. The cute little title comes in the set and I adorned the card with three brads, one each of purple, green and orange and then used some felt ribbon from Michael's topped with the Candy Corn ribbon I had from a set I bought from JoAnn's last season. I also did a little machine stitching on the main image and the title image to frame them since I went without a mats on them!

Come back everyday this week and I will be showing you some more sneak peeks of the fabulous Whimsie Doodles digistamps being released on Saturday!! If you head over to the Whimsie Doodles blog, you can enter for a chance to win this adorable set for FREE!!

And for more Candy Monster Inspiration you can also visit the following DT members' blog...

Joni

Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with all things beautiful to see! Thanks so much for your prayers for Ricky!

Hope Your Day is Fintastic!

In reviewing my completed assignments for Whimsie Doodles yesterday I came across this card that I made a while back using last month's WD sketch and the Whimsies Koi digistamp. I am not sure why it never made it to a blog post before, but I definitely wanted to share it with you today!
Here is the sketch that was the inspiration...

I actually combined two digistamp images to complete this card. While I realize that it might be a stretch on the imagination to picture a Koi fish jumping out of the water, I just want you to work with me here... OK?? It's kind of cute, right?? LOL!!

The actual digistamp comes with the sentiment you see and two koi fish that look like they are circling each other. The water is also a digistamp that comes in the Beach Borders set at WD.

I raised the Koi up with pop dots to help give the illusion of depth.

Look closely and you can see how the touch of the glimmer from the Sakura Gelly roller pens adds a great effect on the images!

The Koi set is really cute and some of the other DT members have done some "fintastic" things with it too! Check out what some of the others have done with this set...

Melyssa HERE and also HERE

It's a beautiful Sunday here in sunny Florida and we expect to have a very "fintastic" day... I hope you do too!!

May your bucket overflow with "fintastic" ways to spend your day!!

Happy Hip Hop Hangover!!

I am a little later in posting today than planned, so sorry about that!

So let's get on with the HHH cards!! I have three cards to share with you today that all use Unity Stamps. If you have been to some of the forums this week then you may have seen these, but it's all I have for you today!!

This first card was made for the Hip Hop Challenge yesterday called "the Great Outdoors" where we had to use a stamped image of anything you would find outside the house. I chose to do a beach scene and used my Sun and sentiment image from Unity's July KOM and the bucket and shovel from the Beach Days and Sun Rays set. The DP is from October Afternoon.

Sunshine and Sand

I had the opportunity to use a new product that I picked up at CHA which is sand that already comes with the glue in it. It is made by Muddpuddles.net and comes in many colors. The color I used here is called Malibu Beach and is their most popular color. It was so easy to use and it really makes a great affect on projects!

Look at how realistic the sand is. It is also very durable and stays glued down very well with no evidence of the glue left on the sand!

This card also was made for the Clean and Simple card challenge CAS26 on SCS on Monday to use stitching on our project. I used yellow thread and added machine stitching to make more sun rays coming out of the sun. The waves were made using another tool I bought at CHA which is called the Ultimate Crafter's Companion. The box comes with embossing/debossing plates in various patterns. I thought this looked like waves and so I used it and then inked it to add dimension!
I am pleased as punch to say that this card won a free stamp set for me and was the challenge winner chosen by Jeanne last night!! Woohoo!!

My next Unity card is for the second Hip Hop Challenge which was called "Break Out the Buttons!" For this challenge we had to use three buttons on our project. I chose to use these adorable little flowers from the 100% Happiness in-store kit. (You can see lots more from this set if you do the Hip Hop yesterday starting on the Unity Stamp Co. blog!) I paperpieced some of this adorable Scenic Route paper and tilted my mats to make this sweet, whimsical card!!

Three Times the Sweetness

And finally I will share with you my first submission for the Guest Designer challenge at Unity. I don't think this is a winning entry and I will definitely be submitting some more samples because of that. I don't know where my mojo was for this one! LOL!!

The challenge was called a 1-2-3 challenge. We had to use 1 stamp (that could be stamped multiple times), 2 DP's and 3 embellishments. I think the cool thing about this card is that I did mask off the ice cream cone and left only the cherry on top which I proceeded to stamp many times to make my own background paper. It was tedious, but I like how it came out! The rest of the card is just OK for me!

So there you have them! Three Unity cards for your HHH viewing pleasure. I hope that you are on the blog hop to see all the rest of the customer's creations today. If you haven't started from the Unity Blog, then please click HERE to start at the beginning!!

Have a great day and happy hangover day!! May your bucket be overflowing with tons of Unity style inspiration!! I can't wait to see what Unity has in store for us come September when Hip Hop changes to some new form of blog hopping!! The suspense is killing me!!

Happy Birthday Mom and a SheetLoad Share!!

Today is a very special day because it is my wonderful mother's birthday!! My mom is such an incredible person! I don't know anyone who doesn't love and respect her once they know her. She is the epitomy of sweetness yet has the strongest inner strength you can imagine! I am so happy that we have a relationship that is close. Not only are we mother and daughter, we are friends. There isn't anything that I can't tell my mother... and best of all she still loves me unconditionally and encourages me with her wonderful wisdom.

My niece Lindsay, my mom and my daughter Michelle with me in the back on the 4th of July!

My sister Michelle and I are taking her out to lunch for sushi for her birthday today! It will be a treat to spend part of my day with two of my favorite people in the world! I love my mom and my sister!!

Me, my mom and my sister, Michelle

I love you mom! Happy Birthday!!!
So now I have a SheetLoad card to share with you! This month was the first time that I was a featured Designer for the eZine. I actually was an extra for this month and so I have the pleasure of being featured again next month too! This month's eZine is sponsored by Sweet N Sassy Stamps. They have some adorable stamps both in acrylic and digital form. Click HERE to visit the Sweet N Sassy Store!
Since we are celebrating my mom's birthday today, It thought it was a great idea to share with you a birthday card I made with this month's sketch! This isn't her card, because I can't post it here until I give it to her because she is one of my faithful blog Followers!!

I can't find this cute stamp when I look through their site, so I don't know if it was discontinued, but I was sent it when I won a challenge at the Cutting Cafe. It is really cute and I hope that they will start selling it again! Edited to Add: My good friend Gigi gave me a link where this stamp is still available in acrylic form so I wanted to share that with you. Click HERE to see the set this stamp comes from, it is designed by Korin Sutherland. Thanks Gigi!! For all the details of what materials were used, please refer to the eZine where it is all posted for you!

Here is a picture of just the card...

I used my Copics to color the image and made it coordinate with this adorable We R Memory Keeper's DP. The sentiment is a BG rub on!

Here is a close up of the coloring...

I have three more projects to share with you this month, but I will spread them out over the next few weeks! Be sure to get your SheetLoad copy and make sure that you share with us what you create and also give SheetLoad a Shout Out on your blog, because there are prizes to be won from SNS stamps this month!!

Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with special plans with special people!!

It's Another Sweet Wednesday!

Today is Wednesday and if you have been Following my blog then you know that it means it is time for another Sweet Sketch Wednesday Card! What is Sweet Sketch Wednesday (SSW) you may be asking? Well it is a wonderful blog that gives us a great sketch to use for making cards every Wednesday! And the sketches are really sweet, like go to the dentist cause you are going to get a cavity sweet!! LOL!!

Here is a look at this week's new sketch....

And here is what I decided to make based off that sketch!

Let's Hang Out!

The adorable stamped image is a paper piecing using Unity's clothesline and sentiment from their June 09 KOM. I like how it came out, but it is so much cuter IRL. The colors of this paper from Scenic Route is so pretty! I thought it had a nice airy feel to it and went well with the stamped images!

I hope that you will visit the SSW blog and play along with us this week. If you make a creation, please add to her Mr Linky so we can all see it!

Have a really sweet Wednesday and may your bucket overflow with lots of fresh air and sunshine!

Aaahh! It's Good to be Home!

I never thought I would say this but I was glad to be home and even back to work today! There is something to be said about routines and your normal way of life being comfortable!

I wanted to share a few things with you from the CHA Supershow and tell you some of the cool things I bought! So I hope you don't mind a little recap of my weekend!

First of all as I arrived on Friday evening it was too late to go to the Supershow because they were shutting down within the hour, so I made my way to my hotel room where I met up with Vianna. Vianna and I met through Stamp TV's Florida group and it turns out that we live less than two miles from each other. We had already met each other before this weekend so that we could be more comfortable rooming together. She was such a sweet roomie. She thinks of everything and even brought us some wine and pepperoni and crackers to have before going to dinner!

Christina and Vianna at Giordanno's

We met up with Christina from Scrap Time in Canada for dinner. I had never even heard of Scrap Time before, but you can be sure that Christina's site will be some place that I visit much more frequently from now on! She took over a thousand photos from CHA's trade show and has them posted on Flickr. Check them out right HERE! And be sure to go to her site regularly where you will get to see her use and report on many products from the SB industry.

We had dinner at the famous Giordanno's pizza restaurant. They make the heaviest pizzas I have ever seen! Their pizza's are stuffed and look like they are a calzone that is turned inside out! The pieces stand a couple of inches high and are filled with the ingredients of your choice! We had a good time getting to know each other!

So Saturday morning after a breakfast at Denny's, we headed into the Supershow! I will say that I was a little disappointed that it seemed more like many other expos I had been to. I think I thought I would see more of the trade show displays and get to see some of the new stuff coming out! But all in all there were great things to buy and lots of make-n-takes to do.

Vianna hooked me up and saved me a seat for one of PaperTrey Ink's Make-n-Takes and I got to meet Debbie Olson! Here is the card that we made...

I also got to meet Dawn McVey and the owner of PaperTrey, Nichole Heady. I have always been impressed with how she runs her business. Nichole does nothing that isn't pure perfection! There stamps are awesome and I am glad that my collection of them grew this weekend!

Dawn McVey, Vianna, Nichole Heady

I also went over to the Splitcoast Stampers area where all the company sponsored Make-n-Takes were going on and I got to meet some of the "famous" people from SCS! Here is a picture of a few of the people that were in the area helping people make their SCS pins and greeting people!

Back row from L-R, Beate Johns, Lori Craig, Daven Nolta

Front row from L-R, Jen Balcer and me!

I have a funny (and embarrassing) story to tell you about the guy you see pictured above. He was helping me make my pin after I had introduced myself to Beate and Lori. I said to him, "so did someone drag you along with them to help out today, or how do you belong to Splitcoast Stampers?" Turns out he is none other than the founder of Splitcoast Stampers, Daven Nolta (along with his wife Tracy!) I wanted to crawl under the table and hide! So I kind of laughed it off and went along making my pin! LOL!! How embarassing!! :-)

Here is the adorable pin that they had us make...

Then, to no surprise to anyone who ever reads my blog, the highlight of my time at CHA was meeting Angela Magnuson and the rest of the Unity crew! I had heard that they had left before the Supershow started so I was sorely disappointed, but then much to my amazement they were doing Make-n-Takes in the SCS area between 11am and 1pm on Saturday. Thankfully I showed up just at the right time or I would have missed meeting them. I gave Angela a big hug and I am sure that I gushed like any groupie meeting her idol for the first time!! She is so sweet and beautiful on the inside and the outside! And the thing that blew me away the most was that she actually recognized my name as one of her customers and regular uploaders to the Unity Gallery on SCS! She really made my day!

From L-R, AJ Otto, Angela, me and Brooke!

Here is the Make-n-Take from Unity...

You can't tell it from the picture, but the base of this is a wood block! Oh so cool!! And some more great news is that Unity is going to be having a line of scrapbooking stamps coming out soon! I got to see a sample of it and am so excited to get my hands on those too! I didn't buy any Unity stamps while at the Supershow because only one store was selling it and I had practically everything already that they were selling. I did get to see a sneak peek in person of the August KOM and it's another great one!! Woohoo... can't wait!!

I also got to meet two other special people that are a part of my daily online life. I met Sue Morris (but she has the picture of us) and Deb Felts. Both of them are in the Florida Stamp TV group and I recognized each of them in the crowds and introduced myself to them. The Stamp TV Florida group was supposed to meet up for dinner, but as it turns out, I think a lot of us just got too tired to make it til the end. I ended up leaving at about 3pm with sore feet and an empty bank account! LOL! So my apologies to Jean and any one else who had hoped to meet up. I certainly hope to do that in the future! I love all you ladies and appreciate your comradery on Stamp TV!

Deb Felts with me!

So where did most of my money go?

I am so excited to put some of these things into use! I will let you know as I use these things how they work. I am really excited about the brad maker and the Crafter's Companion.

I hope I get some time in the stamp room or it is going to seem very wasteful that I bought all this stuff if I don't use it!

So for now that gets you all caught up with me! I am glad to be back and into my routine. I hope to have some projects to share with you tomorrow and I will also start showing you some of the assignments that I completed using this month's SheetLoad sketch. I hope you went to the site to get your free copy of the eZine. It is a really wonderful sketch that you will want to use over and over!

Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with exciting new things to keep you inspired in your craft room!

Woohoo!! New Whimsie Doodle Stamps are For Sale!!

So I made it to Orlando Friday, but not in time to get into the Supershow! I ended up getting delayed at my daughter's house getting her old apartment cleaned and trying to get her better settled into her new apartment. While I was disappointed to miss shopping , I still have all day today. I hope to bring some pictures that I take from there that I can post soon.
I also didn't have time to finish my last sneak peek for you before the big release day, but hopefully you got to see the Sunny Day sneak peek yesterday from the Whimsie Doodles blog.
Just to recap, the digistamp sets that are going on sale TODAY at Whimsie Doodles are the following...

For Teacher

School Days

Don't delay!! Head right on over the Whimsie Doodles store and snatch up these great stamps for the great price that they sell for!
I am off to see CHA! I will talk to you tomorrow! Have a great day and may your bucket overflow with exciting plans for your Saturday!
